Dear Brothers and Sisters, Greetings in the Name of the Lord and on behalf of the Secretariat for Gold Coast Via de Cristo. I am thrilled, as we enter the first quarter of 2008 to be able to give you a report as to where we are as a movement. Welcome to our newly designed website, which as you can see is still under construction. I would like to thank all of you that have been patient with this ongoing work. In 2007 we have had a few situations arise in relation to the site. At one point, not of our wishes or doings, the website was canceled, half of the site was lost and had to be rebuilt. Through the hard work of our website crew we are on the mend and the site is getting better every day. Please remember these are volunteers that are maintaining the site and are working at a feverish pitch to get it going and improving it. Thanks guys! Second, we are in the process and have it almost set up for the Official Gold Coast Via de Cristo prayer Site. You can submit prayer requests on the web site and it will be emailed to all on the list for prayer support. Up until now this burden of the prayer chain was handled by Mary Lou Quevado, and she has done a great job, and we thank her for doing it to the glory of God. But now the time has come to start the Official Gold Coast Via de Cristo prayer site. All you have to do is go online to Goldcoastviadecristo.org click on the prayer center, and view the prayer listing, Submit a prayer Request, Subscribe to the prayer chain and even read devotionals. It will take a little time and cooperation to get this smoothed out but we have our own Official Prayer site… Praise God!!! The Secretariat has done a great job doing the work for you and God… We really want this movement to Serve God and Love His people. As Lay Director I know that each weekend that goes by we get 30- 40 new family members. Isn’t that Great!!! So Go hug someone, that may be the only love that someone gets… Jesus loves you and so do I.
